Teen killed in Tishomingo County crash

A car accident in Tishomingo County, Mississippi has left a 13-year-old boy dead and others seriously injured.

The crash occurred on a rural stretch of Highway 365 at around 9 p.m. A 2014 Ford Escape was traveling north when it collided head-on with a 2011 Ford escape. One of the vehicles had crossed the center line, according to police.

The authorities arrived at the scene to find the occupants of the Escape severely injured – a 13-year-old-boy would later die from his injuries at a local hospital. The driver of the Ford Explorer was not seriously injured.
